Hey all. I'm looking at purchasing a truck in the near future wondering what potential lease on opportunities are popular in the Northeast area. So far I'm planning to look into Schneider and JB Hunt. I have 1 year of local experience, not OTR so I may not qualify for all companies. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Anyone know how strict Landstar is on their application as far as the OTR requirement?

Let's see if this guy can help you....he's with LS. @Dave_in_AZFastbreakstar22 Thanks this. -
Define strict.
I think if you have more than 40 csa points it's a no.
3 incidents in 3 years is no.
If you have 2, and get the third you're gone.
You must be able to get a hazmat endorsement. Don't have to pull it, but you are required to have one.
I tell everyone fill out the app and go from there. All they can say is no. -
