Hello I'm 28 years old I have my cdl permit and dot medical certificate. I was trying to get into a paid training program but was denied because of my spotty job history. I have never been fired or failed drug tests. I have no criminal background or citations/violations on my record. If I pay for schooling to get my cdl will I run through the same problem. When trying to get hired by a cdl trucking company?

Get your cdl and you'll be hired somewhere.
Where is your location; state & nearest city/town.

They are right....you can find a job. I've seen multiple people with spotty work histories get jobs.....now once you get your license, let's reduce the number of spots....you know what I'm saying?
LilRedRidingHood and NoahFlo Thank this. -
You'll be OK. I still have a spotty job history, had my CDL since late 2017, 7 driving jobs in last 3 years (i choose jobs poorly).
Some companies won't look at me. Most don't care.LilRedRidingHood, NoahFlo and Chinatown Thank this. -
