It's my turn to run west for a while. I was planning on going home the first week of Feb...but, Lincoln dangled another 2100 mile 1 pick, 1 drop load in front of me. I deliver south of Carlisle any time tomorrow. Then pick up a load off the PA yard that delivers in Louisville on Friday, and reload out of the same place headed for Reno for next Tuesday. For those kind of miles, the wife said 'run Forest, run'
And my little yellow engine shaped night light went away, so I guess it's one of those sensor mis-reads that the system had to get a certain number of good reads before clearing itself.

My junk liner does that occasionally too. Stays on until you start and stop about 10 times and then goes out. Replaced the NOX sensor about 20K miles ago.

I am the proud owner of two small and expensive truckstop tool sets from forgetting to hide a spare key. Cascadia’s have an access panel on the firewall you can get into. Then you have to have 3 foot arms and be a contortionist to reach up and yank key out of ignition. Yes, I was stupid enough to endure this twice.

This next storm coming thru the northeast must be expected to be a major one. (They're claiming it's gonna be a bomb cyclone). The reason I say this is, coming across the OH turnpike yesterday, it was a steady stream of power company equipment with IL plates headed east, kinda like they do when we are expecting a hurricane down south.

I made a big mistake yesterday. Woke up and forgot what timezone I was in. Place I parked had no vending machine so decided to do a split break. Well my peoplenet is set to central so I just glance over and believe I can get 7 hours in at the local truckstop and then the rest when delivering. Thought it was pacific time...
Due to my mistake I actual was 1 hour short and didn't even realize my error till I was a bit down the road to the truck stop. Made my delivery ontime but now I have no hours to do my next 2.
Was suppose to pu a preload at our salt lake yard and do a live delivery 8 miles away at 0600 then pick up a preload going to the Walmart DC up in Washington. Well I'm at the yard but had to pc 40 miles from my delivery to be here and no hours till the afternoon.
Overnight didn't even respond..just send a 10-4 when I told them what happened. In their defense at this late of hour and that the customer doesn't even have anyone in the office till 0600. There was no way they could get someone else to do it or reschedule.
Gonna have to have a talk with my morning dispatch when he comes in and explain why I'm dumb. -
