Will a Detroit fuel priming tool work on a cm870 ISX?

Hi guys, I’m dealing with a fuel draining back issue and if my truck sits for 3 or more days it at least 3 priming cycles of the lift pump to get it to fire. Strong batteries, good cranking speed, new fuel shutoff solenoid with 12 volts to the solenoid. 2007 IH 9900. I’m am going to try the priming tool next time I’m just not sure wich port to plug it in to or if it will work. Thanks.
