So my boss gave me an ultimatum

Ughmm.. up in space? We paid into that new telescope up there, James Webb. It's us, the US, and EU on that rig. The CBC wrote an epic propaganda piece on how great the thing is and what it can do, but no mention of cost to tax payer. I'm really curious how many hospitals, tunnels, bridges, and housing projects that thing cost us in exchange for a glimpse into the butthole of the universe.

 

Or how many meals for kids in school it would provide.

Well, I had to get the jab just to get on one of those big tubs beginning of this month. I was totally against it since my reaction to a pill my ex wife (RN Nurse) gave me years ago. She said she had never seen anyone my size get their props kicked out from under them like I did.

My wife was all excited as well as scared to get on this tub and go in to the Caribbean area. She has had a few medical problems in years past, I have never had nothing but a fear of needles!! I’m in my 50’s and healthy as can be.

Now to the tub ride….

Yes everyone had to be jabbed, and everyone had to wear a mask any time you were outside your room.

Every elevator, restaurant, shop, and random areas in the ship had hand sanitizer stands to use. Glad there was no open flames, I would have probably caught on fire from all the alcohol or what ever is in that stuff. I know it burnt the crap out of my weather cracked mule skinners!!

2 times we had to stop and send VAXXED folks to another ship being used as a ward for sick that had caught the China crud.
Odd thing was…. it was always the ships staff that caught the crud, and NONE OF THE STAFF were allowed off the ship at any port!!

How does a ship 1/2 full of 100% vaxxed folks get sick, when they never left the ship…?

And isn’t it odd, you go to a airport and have to stand 6 feet apart, then get nearly elbow to elbow with those you couldn’t stand close to?

We flew from WV to Charlotte to Peurto Rico, and got on the ship there. In Barbados they were forcing folks to wear a mask even out side….

 

Was the ship people who caught it just another smaller cruise ship or what?

 

It was the staff on our ship that were getting sick for one. Not sure about other cruise ships. 2 different days the captain got on the horn to apologize not being able to dock at certain islands. St. Lucia was one island we were not allowed to dock at.

This is one of our life boats transferring sick staff members to the boat holding quarantined folks…

 

Think I ll stay home

 

Yeah we did a couple cruises a year until 2019. Not touching them any time soon.

 

It would have to be pretty cheap to get me to go now I think.

 

My younger brother owns a couple Chick Fi la restaurants. He has worked hard the last 30 years to have what he does. It is his gift to share this time with his brothers & sister. If not for that and our wives wanting to experience things I sure wouldn’t leave the main land lol.

This smaller ship rocked side to side a lot, and had me walking like a drunk hillbilly!! The last ship was bigger and fairly stable compared to this one.

This ship was the Explorer of the Seas….
