It seems more and more O-T-R fleets have Macks in them these days. I know that Macks used to be common in local and regional fleets with daycabs or tanker fleets, etc., but it seems like Mack is gaining in popularity across all fleet types.
Does this growth have to do with Volvo's ownership/marketing, or does the Mack lineup have an edge on its competitors these days?

I think its less they have an edge and more that new trucks of any stripe are hard to get right now so everyone is snapping up what they can.

Service guy showed me cry sheets for 5 of our newly arrived Anthems. Junk,,lots of issues with sensors and alarms,,constantly waiting on parts…wouldn’t touch one of those pieces of crap. 5 weeks to get a headlight assembly. Good thing i dont have to drive that crap

Cry sheet is report driver fills out for issues with trucks/trailers…2021 Anthems…not sure how many we got at our terminal maybe 20,,more all around the country. I just know I dont have to drive Macks,,,company agreed to that 23 years ago…
