Dropped my load at gatorade and given a few choices which most were crap. Chose the Lockbourne load, DM told me it was ready on the yard....she must not read carefully cuz it said hook empty reefer on yard then live load at the pepsi warehouse. Get to pepsi at 1400 and no open docks so get staged and finally after 1600 get a dock. Didn't start loading me til midnight.....two days in a row gotta put in for detention.....

That is what happens when you hire rejects from a saturday morning cartoon you can't even trust with a potato gun:

Laughed a little to hard at that one.

I'm still shocked the gate at Richmond is still standing.

Dropped at BH Groveport today. While I was at the gate doing the usual paperwork and such, another Abilene driver attempted to place an empty trailer in the bobtail parking area. This was done at the instruction of BH themselves, since they did not have any spots available for empties inside the gate.

As I'm standing there talking to the guards, I hear a loud crunching sound. I turn around just in time to see the driver catch his front bumper on one of the...

...dunno what they're called. These things:

Anyhow, dude caught his front bumper on one as he was trying to back the trailer in, and ripped his bumper completely off.

Sure hope his day got better after that.

    Lonesome and Rugerfan Thank this.

If that plastic pole can rip off a bumper on a class 8 vehicle, can you just imagine what would happen, say if you got sideswiped going down the highway or ran off the road into the woods?

From what I saw, the bumper was already a little dangly on the driver's side, presumably from some previous incident. That was how he was able to hook it on the plastic pole in the first place.
