Im looking into purchasing a trailer as the rental I use is about to be sold. Im looking into a ravens frameless square box, 40x96 with 11r22.5 on the back. It is a spread axle with a tarp. no liner. Aluminum draft arms. I cant hook it up and weigh it since its at an auction. Just curious if anyone here has any experience with something in that ballpark and what the light weight of something close to that set up would weigh. Im hoping to be lighter than what I currently use. I appreciate any and all pointers since im not very experienced with the frameless style dumps. I currently pull and 34ft steel frame aluminum box trailer with no liner if the comparison will help answer the question. Thanks again.

346881D5-C2AB-433A-9346-E5332C88C3FD.jpeg I’m thinkin this is similar to the trailer you’re talkin about. With this chock full of fuel I was 33k on the money for a tare weight.

The one you’re renting is getting sold , but you won’t be given an opportunity to buy it ?

It is old and it's going to cost close to double what it's worth to fix it. I could buy it if I really wanted it but I'd like to get into something a little newer and better shape that will last me a bit longer.

I'm about 32k full of fuel now. I was hoping going frameless I could maybe break even since I'm adding some length. Any thoughts on the chances of that happening?

I would say that’s possible. One thing I did forget to mention is the one pictured and all the trailers we ran were double wall. If yours is a single wall that will help out tremendously.

I do believe the one I'm looking at is a single wall. Again I appreciate the help.

How tall sides? I would say 10-12k but i don’t know about the ravens, just the mac, trailstar, and the bag of #### easts

I'm thinking right about 60" but I wasn't able to get inside and measure at the auction house. My guess is also right around what you listed as far as weight goes.
