Went through 4 trucks in 2 weeks including a 22 KW with that big red engine everyone wants (literally had a guy at the batcave ask to
Got a buddy down in cheyenne with a 21 brand new fl he's outta wilmer he got over 8 years here they already asked him would you consider swapping or foing recovery...he said I'm going to wait till Saturday don't pay me but also don't bug me, let me see if it's a quick fix it... 3rd party mechanic mentioned something about not liking the noise the transmission was making... little money signs floating above his head... but the minute he went to the motel he got the terminal call!

This is why I like to try and get in the shop Saturday afternoon. If I'm still there on Monday, I'm more willing to swap into a loaner or something. Also, have a better idea of how long it'll be. Some of the terminals have day cabs, which I don't mind using if I don't need to take care of any other business at the terminal.

If my next visit to the shop results in the offer to swap because of something they need to order parts for, I will offer to take a rental car...home, and Fedex them my fuel card and high dollar locks. I am tired of swapping from one junk truck to another...

Next load is kinda a 'carp'(switch ar) load. Live load in Chicago on the 11th at 1830 going to Memphis for a live unload on the 13th at Kroger at 1800.

This load is ONLY good if I can manage to get a 34 in but if not then it's a waste of time and energy that pays little.

They asked me to fetch a loaner last time I broke down, but then they couldn’t find a one way car rental.

I got all of mine successfully killed. I’m enjoying the quiet.

That's the one part of the 2019 I had. They didn't have to be turned on to use the regular cruise control...this 2020 has to have everything in working order for the cruise to work...

Yep, in most areas of the country one way rentals don’t exist anymore.

I don’t understand for the life of me what people see in Cummins. Next to MaxxForce, they’re the biggest POS on the road AFAIC.

Don’t know man, mine has 470K on it and has run like a champ…maybe I just got lucky, I’ll be back to the MX-13 soon enough though.
