I'm on my days off, so I didn't hear the message myself.
But a buddy of mine called me and said that the RTM sent out an audio message today on the pay raise.
My buddy said that he started out by saying that he's only been with the company for a few months.
But he apparently went on to say that they have received a lot of feedback on the pay raise. And that in addition to the CPM increase, we should get with operations so they can help us understand how the activity pay increases will positively impact our paychecks. (Yeah, right! Like we're all idiots.)
I think every one of us CLEARLY understand that EVERYONE got the activity pay bump, and SOME of us got a raise that is 8.4 TIMES as much as the rest of us. And we're PISSED.
In fact, I haven't talked to a single driver since the raise was announced that wasn't pissed about getting a PENNY in CPM. And that was before they found out that SOME got 0.084!
Those who were already pissed about the meager raise before knowing that others got significantly more, myself included, are going to be livid when they find out about the CPM disparity. And justifiably so.
We ALL need to let management know how we feel about this situation. And we all need to stick together and present a united front to demand that they correct this situation.
These new people in management are already ruining the fleet by letting anyone who has a CDL and can fog a mirror in. Now they're doubling down on dumb and pulling this crap.
We need to let them know just how STUPID stuff like this really is.

Okay. I just heard the RTM message I referenced in my previous post.
He basically spent the entire message trying to put lipstick on the pig.
He talked about how awesome we are and how valuable the fleet is. Typical "sunshine up the skirt" stuff that we get so often.
He did say that we should get with our "local leadership team" (Who's that? We don't have "leaders", we have "managers.") so they can help us understand how the increases in activity pay will positively impact us personally.
So, we're awesome and valuable, yet too stupid to understand our pay?! REALLY?!
Apparently, I'm stupid and 8.4 times less awesome and valuable than those who got the $0.084 raise.Nole Man, truckdriver31, braceface and 2 others Thank this. -
6029 Hurricane, Ut. is a WPM warehouse that all FLW's go to Loveland, Grantsville, Hermiston, Red Bluff, Porterville, and Apple Valley. The general rule of thumb is we usually bounce among these offices all week and don't get back to Hurricane until go home day. All these DCs got the .084 raise, except Hurricane and Buckeye. We get .01.
According to this document, we end up doing their work for .074 less. What's wrong with this picture?Attached Files:

At Walmart, we are determined to be the best fleet for drivers to work for. And we’re investing in our future, by investing in you. , - . $, !
Now they've upped the first year pay to $110.000 from $87.000 at least that's what their add says on f/b.
Well, the $110.000 didn't show up on the paragraph I copied from the add.truckdriver31 Thanks this. -
Not even the "8.4 Centers" are getting a 26.5% raise.
So, either someone can't do basic math, or someone is lying if they're making that claim.RussianBearTruckeR, T.Rucker and truckdriver31 Thank this. -
