a friend bought an 60k truck right before the market blew up, he hasn't had nothing major other then destroying the def tank with road debris. But he's had lots of little nit picking things that add up. the market for a 30k truck is impossible right now, but 30k down will get you 100k truck with 600,000 on it good luck

There’s Trucks out there. The idea of making it 6 mo. or a yr. without a major breakdown, is just a matter of odds. No one can predict when something will happen. Especially if you don’t know it’s history. Some things last much longer than expected, others break prematurely, more likely from abuse or neglect. Too bad it isn’t that easy to predict. Normal maintenance costs about $12k per yr. Easily can double with a couple unexpected repairs. Sometimes you can get a good Truck, Preferably one with a recent engine overhaul, since that’s the biggest cost. Still there will always be something that needs replaced. Knowing what those things are helps. Not knowing, results in an expensive surprise. Never a good time for that to happen. It will happen, if you don’t know the Truck in and out. What goods a $30k Truck that costs $50k in 2 yrs. time. $80k invested in what? A $20k Truck, maybe less, as prices will come down on Used Trucks, as more flood the market.

I wouldn't think about taking a 30k dollar out on the road today. Look around on Truckpaper for a few hours and see what 30k gets you.

I may consider selling my 2012 Vovlo 670 but the price would be $35k. It's got just over 800k on the D13 with a 10 speed. It has been extremely reliable with good fuel mileage with some major work recently done including the cups/injector with a remanufactured head from Volvo. I do a lot of minor maintenance myself but all the major work has been done at Bruckner's Volvo and I have clean oil analysis reports since I have owned it. Everything works on the truck as it should but for the CD player. If you are interested send me a message and I can provide more info.
You could also probably find an older Freightliner Columbia in that price range. I found a few nice older trucks at various farm auctions for a decent price. Somer were low mileage and had been stored inside when not in use and a few had recent overhauls.

    Here's your deal......^^^^^^^^^^^^^
You won't find another one like it.
I sold my '14 with 750k on it in December for $30k. I guess I could have gotten more, but the way fuel prices are going, I'm glad I bailed when I did,
In Albany GA, fuel went from $4.79 in the morning to $4.99 in the afternoon......no lie.

Greatwide can get you rolling with that amount of money and as little as $0 dollars down payment. Some of the dealerships they deal with the down payment varies.
    You'll be purchasing a truck.
Greatwide deals with 9 used truck dealerships or you can choose a truck anywhere you want and they'll get it financed for you.

I worked for a company that outsourced the transportation department to Greatwide. Maybe 100 of the drivers bought a truck through Greatwide program. Only two had problems and that's because they bought trucks from used car lots. One bought a day cab and the other bought a pink Kenworth sleeper for $5G from a used car lot.
