You pull a cattle pot? 4.5 is pretty bad even for 40 year old big power motors like a 3408, 12V71 or KTA

All the years I did it I was happy to hit 5. I’d say 4 to 5 is probably the average for someone driving a brick or anything with frame. When I had my FLD I always wanted to call Rutherford and tell him I had a 12.7 and a 10 speed and I was struggling to hit 5mpg just to hear him tell me everything I was doing wrong.

Maybe those electric trucks are looking a little more appealing.

I'll tell you who might be a little happy about all this is the Railroads. They get pinched when fuel goes up too, but their intermodal business' will take freight off the highway because of their naturally higher efficiency with only a small time penalty.

That’s what I was just looking at. $6/gal diesel within a month is a very real possibility.

The only problem is..many don’t understand this concept as it pertains to electricity and making electric cars..

In 2020, about 60% of U.S. utility-scale electricity generation was produced from fossil fuels (coal, natural gas, and petroleum), about 20% was from nuclear energy, and about 20% was from renewable energy sources.

Well after I post this and something happens you will never hear about my business again.

for the first time in a while this past couple of days, I don’t know what happened but my truck started seeing 7.5mpg my average was 6.8mpg.

this better continue until Brandon is gone or it’s gonna cause some issues for a lot of people if I can’t make it with that mpg.

nope maths on point. I was having issues about 3 months back with a drag on the truck after I let off on the peddle. I changed everything I can think of causing it. And poof it fixed itself.

Edit: only thing I did last three days was reinstall the onguard radar sensor using Home Depot screws.
