With the price of a barrel going up again, are we going to see a resurgence of the 2012-2013 wages?

They interviewed a big oil executive today out of New Mexico, she said even if they wanted to start firing up production tomorrow, just like every other industry, they can’t find the hands to man the rigs.

If it's one where the bumper is only a few inches off the ground the bumper won't survive :p

He means the rig hands that are all laid off and found other jobs. Most of the production side is gonna be short handed.

The challenge on the trucking/transportation side of the oil drilling/production side of the business these days, Is finding/hiring drivers that willing to work, and abide by the hos regulations nowadays. Gone are the days of 100-120 hour weeks.
Out here, drivers from out of town don’t want to take the 34hr reset, work for 14, then take 10 off.

    snowman1980 Thanks this.
