I’m sure the powers that be in NE would be real popular if they started using eminent domain to condemn high dollar farm ground just to put in more truck parking. That probably wouldn’t lose them any votes or dry up their money coming from the ag lobby.

South Dakota has 6 across the state, and if you notice when they get rebuilt it’s at the same time I-90 is getting a full reconstruct. So there’s probably grant funding involved because of the low population.

My only complaint about Iowa is the low walls and doors on the stalls. Guess they must have had some funny business going on, but either way it’s a little unnerving to go do your business and someone can practically look over the door at you.

Here in Iowa we had to rob Peter to pay Paul.. it was either taller stalls or more parking ..we chose more parking
Plus we live by the motto ..Land of the free and Home of the brave ;)

If you don't like Nebraska you'd absolutely love PA, NJ, NY, MD, CT, DE...there's truck parking everywhere you look!

Either of you run, I'll be glad to come up with some jokes for you.

I don't let silly things like political parties, religions, feelings, etc get in the way of good humor.

Hell...I'd almost do it for free. I said almost. Only fee I want is tacos. Good tacos, not taco bell ########.

    :)

Jester should be an official position in politics.

We all laugh at them anyways.

I like Nebraska, Iowa, Idaho, Mississippi, Alabama, parts of Texas (I'm impartial to Abilene and Amarillo). Just a few I've been to in my personal vehicle :) I'm scared to go back East LOL. All the horror stories I hear. I ####### hate California. Been there in a semi several times. Got pulled over once. Had a talking to from an officer another time there. I can't back worth a darn because every stupid space is tiny. There is no parking out there and when there is you have to pay?! Like WTFREAK!!!! I have to pay to deliver crap to your trashy state. Sorry, but obviously I hate California. My .02 ;) Hated driving through Houston. Eeew. Nashville drivers are insane. I had one guy slam his brakes from going about 70ish maybe 75 on the freeway because of a small bump. Holy heck that pissed me off for the evening but also considering I drove 1900 miles straight through on an empty stomach, minimal sleep, and 2 5-HR energy drinks....yeah I was kind of a butthead after dealing with idiots on the road LOL

It would be nice if more states built rest areas like the Greenfield Rest Area in Indiana. There must be 200 spaces there.

So you think the owners of the surrounding property should give away their livelihoods to provide a place for you to park?

Are you aware those very lands are what provides you with food to eat and fuel in your vehicles?

Your problem is easily rectified by not visiting the state. Take a different route.

He got called out in the 2 or 3 post by a Nebraskan who asked him.if he was from Comieforia.. he denied it saying he was from NC..
I still think he has Comieforia tree hunger roots ..
That those corn fields he was referring to next to the rest areas market price right now is anywhere between 14 -20 k per acre and you might be able to make 5 truck parking slots per acre.
Worthless fact 1 acre of corn will feed 10 people per year.. but that was before Brandon's NEW DEAL ECONOMIC. program went in to effect.. so 1 acre might feed 4 people now with inflation rising at historic speeds

If you can’t find parking in Nebraska, you simply aren’t looking… The problem is too many drivers have the mindset that if PFJ, love’s, ta/petro have no parking That there is no parking available… There are a lot of mom and pop places across Nebraska that always have plenty of parking at night in Nebraska..
