and call them too if you just write to them they usually send you a letter saying once you pay the full amount will consider your letter but the lady I talked to kind of took my side and went to the judge who she knew. without her intervention I would be up ######'s creek I don't think a letter by itself would have done much, but then again if I knew anything I wouldn't have been on here asking you the other guys for advice. Lol

Pay the ticket and stop running overweight.
Or get a lawyer to fight it.

Tell them to stop fat shaming you and how it's unconstitutional to fine you for simply existing as a truck that might be a little bit overweight. Trucks have feelings too!!

We used to be a forum that would offer help and advice: it seems we’ve turned into a rather mean and snarky forum lately; it’s getting depressing… this place used to be pretty cool: now, not so much…

I was thinking about what you said and I think you're right. I like to see a lively argument but it seems like they turn into insults and threats quicker than they used to.
We'll do our best to keep a lid on it and if a member can't learn to get along we can always show him the door. We don't like to do that but sometimes they don't leave us any choice.
There are still a lot of good people on here. Helpful people and encouraging people still make up the majority of members.
It's just that the bad ones make more noise. That's all they're good for though and inevitably they take their noise someplace else..
