Nebraska should be ashamed of itself

Yeah, I didn't mean to single out Nebraska. You're right, it's a problem in any area thanks to inconsiderate
drivers. Look at the T/A in Jessup, Maryland. Filthy, smelly, miserable place. And the staff acts like they
KNOW it and don't care to lend a hand to improve it. I wouldn't dare stay in the hotel above the place.
Who knows what lurks in the bedsheets?

 

No doubt. Jessup is dump just like all of the Baltimore metro area is. Ironically, Jessup was better 20 years ago back when they had lot lizards and open free parking. Maybe it was just a better type of driver than compared to the losers we have now.

 

All I know is I'm getting tired of hearing people complaining .
This new generation of truck driver is so pussified its unbelievable.

 

Obviously the OP has never looked for a parking spot at a rest area in Colorado

 

I think Nebraska has an ok number of rest areas, but some could definitely use an upgrade.

Hey!!! I complain A LOT. It’s what I’m good at.

 

I’m on his side. Truckers complain every day about needing more parking. Why’s this place any different? Just because it’s someone’s home state and they take offence to the thought that someone thinks it’s inadequate? Everywhere needs more parking and there’s definitely been enough taxes paid on the fuel to be building spots. East of Quebec it’s even worse, there’s no place to stop except for few Irving “Truck Stops” a term I use very loosely. We’re already paying for the roads and spots, it’s time to either put the money to use or lower the fuel tax.

The Northeast as a whole lacks any decent places for truckers to rest. And the few places that do
exist tend to charge highly for it.
