Something drastic happened up there to make that 737 come down very rapidly. That plane was relatively new,having been built in 2015. Some of the 737-800 models have come under scrutiny in recent years because of fatigue cracks found in the mounting bolts which attach the wings to the fuselage. The 737-800 model is the most popular model currently. This is like a case of “deadly déjà vu” because previous 737 models were involved.

Hopefully whatever happened can be solved quickly. Boeing is already skating a slippery slope with issues involving the 737 Max,787 quality control and 777 X delays. -
Simple solution; stop buying Boeing and start buying Airbus.
