Ok good since you want more parking as @wore out said earlier in this thread... Your are dully nominated to start knocking on farmers doors in the state of Nebraska telling them your going to buy their land or take it by force if they don't like the offer you give them... Make sure you tell them it's to build bigger rest areas that border them. Because YOU feel they are needed...Also make sure you video the conversions so we all can watch you get a 12ga. Prostrate Examination

So just like that we should have no more parking, new highways, progress because it’s difficult to figure out? Ok then.

I'am only talking about the state this thread depicted... I have never had a problem finding a place to park in Nebraska myself .. now the Easter part of the USA that's a different story from what I heard .. I try my very best to never go east of the Mississippi .. and that is 1 of the reasons why there's other reasons also ..
Maybe in a couple years the herd will get thinned down by the economy that might free up some parking IDK.. but I admire your thoughts

This thread was started with a little rant about how small the rest areas are in Nebraska, which we've all seen. It's not like corn is growing right up to the edge of the rest areas. There is room for expansion.

Good then go have a talk with Brandon .. Iam sure that's federal land and that's are federal highway..he would be happy to build back better
That's the ironic thing about this thread the OP was complaining about it being Nebraska's fault.. when really it's the federal government problem because that's federal interstate

It always boils down to the Feds. They've been a monkey on our backs since 1861.

Following this, I-80 should be 5 lanes wide each direction, I mean heck, there's at least 60 ft between the concrete and the corn field, can't wait for some steering wheelholder to loose it in the middle of the night and end up 200 ft inside farmer bob's cornfield, instead of 80 ft, and then the heavy wreckers come in and tear up another 400 ft of cornfield, let's not forget the cops and the lookie loos, I'm sure they'll tear up even more

Yeah, no, it's on the states to build and maintain the interstates and rest areas. Feds provide funding, but thats it. AllGov - Departments

Now personally I think the interstates should be handled at the federal level and be funded under defense spending, since the original purpose was for the military to move equipment and men.

You forgot the part about how the steering wheel holder jumps out in his flip flops and starts chanting some middle Easter chant and drop to his knees kissing the dirt ..it scares the cows in the neighbors pasture they stampede and end up on the interstate causing a 14 car pile up which life flight then uses 20 more acres as a heliport and 35 EMT cut through the corn fields to get to the accident seen

The harshness was uncalled for. You seem like a genuinely unhappy person. Get over
yourself and take a deep breath. It'll be okay.
