How am I supposed to be able to drive a 43000 pound load?

Does your tractor have only one drive axle? My day cab had a similar GVWR and only one drive axle.

I have nearish 1000# in tools (2k + if you include load securement) ywin 120s but no microwave or passenger seat, im still the lightest setup in our company. (everyone else has heavier trucks and trailers) i have the most tools by far on the truck, is it the lack of pass seat and micro that are doing this?

You can load 40k on your drive axles and 12k on the steering.

More axles don't help
I bought five axles,
I set them up as a tandem and a 102" triple spread and rolled them out beside the shop. I left got loaded and" bam" overweight. So those axles out beside the shop didn't help a dam bit

I totally agree it is an extremely basic question. If it is that difficult to answer it, then maybe there are others than me that needs this to be straightened out. In my CDL school it was rather obvious that not even the teacher knew the answers to most things, and he was like 80 years old and had been trucking his whole life and even has his "supertrucker" videos out on Youtube.
The only stupid question is the question that doesnt get asked because people were more occupied with identity than with actual progress.

These two posts, along with the one stating they've already hauled 5 loads but are still looking for a trailer are proof positive that there's nothing to be gained from keeping this thread open.

Yeah, but cars can take passengers too. And carry microwaves (not that they are very heavy). I have owned 20-30 cars in my life and there has always been a shield embossed with VIN, GVWR and curb weight because that is information which is important to know. In the USA all vehicles even have the recommended tire pressure, which is odd because that too would vary if the owner was to upgrade the wheels. That is why I was wondering why the same does not go for trucks. After this thread I realize it is customary for manufacturers in the USA not to give out the curb weight, and I dont doubt that. What I am discussing at this time, is how that came into being. If I was to guess, I bet it has to do with laws, maybe Freightliner deem they need to omit information in order not to risk getting sued if someone upgrades the truck making it heavier than the embossed spec shield.

It's blatantly obvious the OP has no clue what he (or she) is doing but y'all are giving him a fine education with some humor thrown in for good measure.

Let's leave it open for the time being because of the excellent information. It will be beneficial for someone who has legitimate concerns and truly wants to learn.
