There's two, I see another one up ahead of the first one closest in the camera....

Oh for sure this generation would rather record a man burning in a car or something for YouTube views then actually help another human being...

You do make some good points.

However, if it were not for instant video feeds through social media it might have played out very differently.

An idea I just had for a movie. (Just now, as I was writing that last.)
Two parallel realities where one has the social media and one never did.
Showing certain events and how they played out in each.
It would make for a great Twilight Zone or Outer Limits.

Because to me, the person that first thinks of recording something like that - instead of first thinking about what they can do to help - ?
What do you think the 'normal' mindset should be, even for one in shock?

It's hard to watch these videos sometimes. I have to admit, this one got to me more than any video I've ever seen. It's OK to park it when the visibility gets this bad. I can't tell if the wrecker crashed as well. To those who were hurt, I wish a speedy recovery. To those who were killed, my condolences to their loved ones.

If I ever come up on stopped mess like that I guess you go as far up into it as you can even if you have to take to the grass?

If you stop at the back safely your gonna get pile driven …..

Oh dont misunderstand me. Im not disagreeing with you or even defending him. Jusy playing devils advocate because its worth considering this kinda thing from all angles. That said in this case i mean normal in the sense of how he would normally act. I.E record it for views is normal to himself so his brain defaults to trained normal.

I still think he is a selfish idiot but i am at least trying to see if there is an external reason for it before i pass judgment. I get bored and thought excercises like this keep me from going stir crazy on 1200 mile trips lol

Yeah remember my first experience driving in the snow when the road changed colour and one could not tell where the lanes were any longer, i just followed the vehicle in front of me and hoped that he/she knew where they were on the road. Still amazed me about how many drivers do not slow down for the conditions though.

This is why I am so loyal to Marten Transport. You'll never see us looking stupid in bad weather. They shut us down and pay 25 an hour, when couple snow flakes fly out. Save hours and make bank

the most important lesson learned about driving in winter, is when to park it!

too many vehicles on the road ,these days, to keep on going and just hope you'll make it.
