Or this jerkoff that just parked beside me with straight stacks and annoying loud truck with 58 degrees outside and slamming doors. I released my brakes and did a controlled roll back to get another 4 ft from his stack, that he put right next to my window.

Some hearing protection works better than others. You need to look at the ratings for the product your using. Some of the squishy foam ones only have a 10db reduction.

I have my trusty Bose Quiet Comfort 2 noise cancelling head set and also my Howard Leight hearing protector . Glad to read that someone besides myself cares about this. 20220328_212629.jpg 20220328_212644.jpg

We better file this thread under ..TOP SECRET
The Feds catch wind of this test .. and get ahold of the results.. there will black helicopters all over the place before the break of day and every truck will be red tagged and put OOS untill we can reach 70 decibels or lower
... Thank s for the news flash .. OP

What kind of truck was this in? I thought all the new trucks were like riding in a Cadillac? Can't imagine how loud it is in my old Pete with Metallica cranked on the radio

This data is worthless without stating what truck you were in... a 2022 Cascadia with the max insulation package (not sure the actual name, but there is an insulation upgrade available) is nearly dead silent inside at 65 mph.
