Well, it was good while it lasted. Took a break from trucking due to illness for about 9 months. Signed on with a new company about three weeks ago and already cracked a fairing. Got a ticket in my car right after coming on board but they figured they'd give me a shot anyway since till then my safety record was spotless. I'm gonna report the fairing extension and take my medicine. I'm expecting with the combination of the ticket and this that's all.

Only myself to blame I reckon. Went into a small drop yard that dead ended and instead of backing out I figured I could make the turn. ####.

The bottom portion of the fairing is cracked about three inches. The bottom mount is busted. No damage to the top portion or mounts. My brain clicked and realized what was about to happen but I was a second too late on the brake.

I just stopped, sighed and basically wiggle wormed out.

I'm just down because until the sickness I had a clean mvr after three years of driving. Not a Ding or scratch. Now gonna have two talks with safety in two weeks. It's a large carrier (KLLM) so no idea if I'm done but u got a good feeling.

I Don't See Any Worries Mate. Drivers Have Done WORSE And Remained At Companies.
I've Added Colors To Colors, As Well Colors To White Tractors.
Sometimes What WE Determine To Be "Enough Room", Well, It Was What It Was!
It's Not Like a Busted Hood, Torn Off Door, Gaping Hole In Tractor or Trailer, Shearing Something, Dropping The Front End Into A Trench, Dropping a Trailer Into A Culvert, or Look Like This:
Trapped trucker freed after more than an hour in overturned rig

    Cheer Up!! :)

You may be worrying about nothing. Reporting it may be the big thing. Myself, I don’t care what happens, I know #### happens. I don’t get sideways unless something happens and I find out about it on my own.

If you think they may want to give you the flick offer to pay for the damages that sometimes can change the out come.

I hate all those plastic cab extensions that do very little except cause problems. Make the trucks look bad, and always getting dinged.
