That’s the worst thing about mine. It always tries to lug.

Ya, I don't know how they assign trucks. I technically only had 5 months with them since I am a rehire. I am home by 7 and take their truck home. I wasn't expecting anything, but one day my inverter stopped working. They sent me to Mondovi not to fix, but give me a brand new truck. And trust me these new t680 are very smooth, you can actually able to shift them. So, none of that weird lag shifting gears

Yeah,I’m almost always overriding the transmission manually to kick it down a gear to keep the engine in the torque band, especially if I’m pulling over 40,000 pounds. Lately the loads I’ve been getting have been 42 to 45,000 pounds(pizza rolls from Pillsbury in Wellston,OH are surprisingly heavy). Short drive from the KW Chillicothe plant!;)

The black device is the dashcam, the other is the CompletePass toll collection system (2 transponders in one plastic package).

It’s a changing world(especially in the trucking industry). And sometimes you have to learn to change/adapt with it.;)

Baloney, I refuse to change, and will have to pry my cold dead fingers from around that 359 steering wheel,,,I think some guys refused to give up those trucks, and possibly bought them from Randy. I'm sorry, in 4 years of the salt bath, you'll have a host of problems, I know just buy another new one, and the poor schmuck buying a 4 year old truck has all the problems, nice system,,while that old 359 still a smokin', pump on "manual", air wipers slapping away, left lane in the BIG HOLE,, nope, it didn't change for me, and I'm kind of proud of that fact.
