After 1 year, 7 months (196,000 miles) I finally got a new truck!

There’s some differences in the engine compartment. The coolant tank is mounted on the firewall above the engine instead of the radiator. The windshield washer fluid tank is mounted on the passenger side next to the chassis instead of the driver side above the radiator. The air filter box is a different shape. The Cummins is a lot quieter compared to previous models (extra insulation perhaps)? The instrument panel fully digital-no analog gauges anywhere!

Another big change on the new T680s(at least for ours), the trucks have disc brakes all the way around-NO DRUMS,period. According to the shop techs the change reduces the weight of the trucks by about 300 pounds on the drives. And so far they haven’t had to change any disc brakes out unlike the drum setups.

 

Are these driver facing cams and do they give otr drivers long runs?
