Because we don’t pull sets with them we would max out at 56k 12-20-34 on axel groups. A single screw won’t work with our sets because we would often be too heavy on the drive axel. It’s not uncommon to have 38 to 40k of freight in the front box for us.

We don’t have any pups. So our shortest sets are two 42’s strung together with a overall length of 104 feet. In sd we can run up to 110 feet overall with a max trailer length of 45 feet. In Nd we run a 53 and 42 foot combo.

Oh, okay. You’re talking about turnpike doubles. Yeah, that’s a different animal.

I'm trying to figure out my next move. I'm doing reffer now.
Why did you go with OD instead of another LTL?
How much is your first check, seeing how you're brand new and all?

    What happened on Sunday?

Ya...unfortunately, I don't believe I'm cut out for LTL (at least to the level that XPO includes dock work into a 430mi run) work. Money is great. It's great to have all of the monies...but sucks to have none of the time. So I think I'll go back to hauling milk.

There is a place here in UT that says $100k to haul milk. Is that right?

From the XPO drivers I’ve talked to, they try to work there drivers into the dirt, no thanks!

Between that and the micromanagement, I don’t know how they tolerate it.

    Does it get better?
I pull a reffer M-F and sometimes am able to get home sooner depending on the load and that's about what I make, $1100 after tax.

Jay5GS and Lumper Humper Thank this.
