with all the miles i drove for 48 years, i ain't about to go no where's for the foreseeable future.

i only got my passport and READ ID "just in case" i have a family emergency and have to get someplace fast.

but given that passengers have to be at the airports 4 hours early, and possible flight delays which happen every day/night of the week.??

that'll be about 4 to 6 hours (maybe longer) i will be on the road getting to where i gotta be...and hey...

NO HOS, NO SCALES, NO Mandatory 30 minute break..!!!!!!

Thought he was being cute but didn’t give a crap about inconveniencing the flight crew and rest of the passengers.

I’m in PA. We are going to Florida this summer. I’m driving. I have a comfy crewcab. I can take all of our beach stuff. And the kids will be more comfortable. And so will I with the only restriction being the speed limit.

LOL. Luckily my daughter doesn’t mind and my son just turned two so he’s not able to ask that question yet!

I always remember that in every airline somebody is going to be the worst pilot in the fleet. Law of averages, somebody has to be the one who needed remedial training, or failed his route checks, or couldn't quite make the transition to another type of aircraft.
Or maybe he's just barely skilled enough that none of these things have happened. Yet.
Enjoy your flight and thank you for being willing to fly with us today.

Airlines treated people like cattle long before covid. Flew once in my life about 5 years ago and it was not a pleasant experience by any means.
