It’s Turkey season here. But more importantly it’s time to get the garden planted. Can’t wait for the home grown tomatoes and peas.

 

I'll still willing to by that T600 .. but at a discounted price now because you have run the doors off it .. I'll give you .70 cents on the dollar cause I like you

 

Turkey hunting must be different there?
They are everywhere here and pretty easy to get. Just walk out on the porch and pick one. They aren't really scared of people. You can get like 3 or 4 I forget. Nobody really shoots them here.

 

Is that an invite? I can postpone my inevitably failing trucking venture....

Here too. I love taking new hunters, especially kids. They hear that first gobble and lose it. Took a friend's son out on the river Saturday. Only worked one bird, but lot's of fun.

 

Calling them in is real fun. It's been a while since I last went out. Going out this year

 

They are in full strut around here. I have a flock that lives across the road. I came home Tuesday and they were all blown up out in the pasture. It took a lot not to do a little trespassing.

 

Guess those turkeys didn't hear about crashing rates and fuel prices. Still just doing turkey ####...
