Everything I'm reading says minimum 4 hours a day. Nothing about the hours being consecutive.

This is why you don’t inform your person doing your physical. Take care of yourself get used to the machine but to simplify life never tell anyone outside the doctor who treats your apnea.

2 questions on the DOT Physical deal with Sleep Apnea. One asks if you have Sleep Apnea, the other have you ever had a sleep study done.
I know a few guys that have Sleep Apnea, that use a machine, but that all answered those questions, NO. None of them were "caught" and all got two year cards. Stay away from doctors that push sleep studies. You know places like Concentra must be getting kickbacks from the Apnea industry.

My issue is I already have been diagnosed with sleep apnea and am on a machine but have only been using it for less than a month. I did all of this on my own time. Not due to the DOT doctor sending me.

However last time I renewed my medical card, it was after I took sleep study but didnt have a machine. She didnt know I had sleep apnea so she wanted me to get tested.

Is it in a database now because she wanted me to get tested?

She can want all she wants. It's simply not required so go get s second opinion from some place that doesn't require the not needed medical procedure.
