    That chunk of highway attracts some real special folks. From Pecos tx to Carlsbad nm is probably one of the deadliest stretches of highway in the us. When I was working in the patch it was a rare day that some wreck didn’t happen on it.

    I hauled transformers out of Laredo through there in 2011 with a drop in Artesia, NM...I enjoyed the trip, so it must be that they're so bored with no scenery they fall asleep at the wheel. I just jacked the radio and sang my way up there. :)
