I was getting ready to start a CDL Driving Program and was instructed to have a DOT physical. I failed because my sugar was high. So, I didn't start school and sometime has passed, and it is under control now.
I am thinking about trying a different CDL program. Will that last DOT exam be on my record?

On your record is a bit of a misnomer. The FMCSA will have access to the first physical. As long as your blood sugar is under control and you are otherwise OK you should be OK.

    AMA and Chinatown Thank this.

And remember the physical isn't a diagnosis. When asked on the form answer truthfully. I e if a doctor diagnosed you with high blood sugar then put that in, but if you just fixed the problem by diet then there's no need to mention it.

    AMA and tscottme Thank this.
