I do really appreciate the Mack I’m in now, the I shift is great, sure you can spin the wheeles when you shift, but then again learn how not to, workes
Good for me, through those blizzards in North Dakota and Montana, especially that last one week ago, 11 trucks and 4 cars off the road in 66 miles Dickinson to Beach, then it got bad, in Montana to Glendive 12” snow 2 tracks no plow
Followed state patrol through there , he shut it down when we got to Glendive
That auto will lug down and shift smoothly if you pull your foot out of it

This is the ugly truth about modern day feminism. Women do not respect a man that doesn’t act like a man. Have you ever seen a relationship where the female is dominant? She belittles him and basically does all the things a toxic male is supposed to do. She’s not a happy person and he’s not a happy person. I wholeheartedly believe it’s because the dynamics of the relationship are out of whack and the gender roles are reversed.

Modern day feminism is evil and it is what is causing the crumble of our society. Everyone of the major cultural issues has it roots in this despicable ideology.

A true "professional truck driver" demonstrates their knowledge, skills, and abilities by the way they operate the vehicle in all conditions and situations. Shouldn't matter if it's a ten-wheeler or a 24, auto, or manual, ice road or pavement. If it's a CMV that requires a special skill set to operate, then the driver should demonstrate such.

Think its all just a matter of option really I personally don't judge those that choose to only drive an Auto, for me I just prefer to have a manual gear box as it gives me something to do, keeps my mind occupied, where as an auto tends to make a person more lazy and more relaxed and that tends to make a driver less prepared and alert. You could ask 1000 drivers the same question and more then likely get 1000 different opinions on this topic.

I asked my cousin if his new Shelby mustang convertible was a manual or an automatic.
    And he replied
    “ it’s a manual , I like to DRIVE my cars , not just steer them . “

Have operated 3 types of automated shift systems from freightliner. One with a clutch, only used to start and stop. Also the newer Eaton 10 and 12 speed units. Have also had 9,10,13,15 and 18 speed manual shift transmissions.

Programming is the key to these automated systems, Have had a few that just didn’t work well. Talked to a tech about the things it was doing. They did a few programming changes, reset some of the parameters and it was a big difference.
