Exactly , if you do the math using a7 day week that's 678 miles a day. This ain't the 60'or the 70's anymore thank God.

Running like that IMHO just ain't too wise. Have I been guilty of offering it ? I sure have , and as I've griwn older I've wised up.

The really great companies to drive for don't play that way.

I didn't post the cpm bc it makes you go cross-eyed. But here you go.
You start at .30 cpm per driver.
Any run one-way from OKC, corporate hq, is .02 more each. These are hub miles. There is 1/2 cpm each year you are employed. Tops out .33 cpm/.35 long haul.
You also get stop pay. $37 per stop split. 1 to 3 stops per trip.
There is a quarterly safety/attendance bonus. 03 cpm. (Works out to $2200 every 3 months)
    Breakdown, detention, weather delay pay.
80% 401k match of your first 5%. Free to employees clinic on site. I'm home Saturday early morning, leave Monday evening. You can say it's low pay. But you can't say it's not a great deal.

An Autozone driver described similar specs to me once. I don't know anything about team except you get paid for other drivers miles and it's usually .30-.40 split; tanker is usually the top end...

70MPH and a 401k puts them above a lot of companies regardless... I'd bet Safelite has close to these specs too..

i don't like nor appreciate thier views on certain subjects, much like Chic-fil-A, and Covenant....

i need not have any company try and push thier religious or political views or opinions or agendas on me.

If you ever find a big carrier or franchise that doesn't have some sleezy motives or fake posturing, then please let me know!

i only worked for 2 mega carriers, and not for long, and that was early on in my career. all others were smaller outfits.

anyone that works for such a company deserves what they get, in thier communications with them. regarding thier views and opinions

In interviews CIA people love to talk about how rich people sit around thinking about power and influence all the time, and often will dabble in human trafficking and corporate raiding just to see the despair.. You don't get power being nice and fighting poverty; despite what 'right' or 'left' swears in their dogmas..
