I am at a travel plaza on north i-95 in New Jersey right now. I need to get to Connecticut tomorrow. Will it be possible if instead of taking 95 into nyc, I get off right before the bridge on hwy 9W going north to cross at the Tappan Zee Bridge? Is 9w legal for trucks to use?
Trying to avoid taking the George Washington Bridge here

Hop on 80 West for about a mile and you'll see signs for NJ17 north. I've ran that way plenty of times

If you can get across the GW Bridge before 6am it’s usually ok, may save you some time.
But I certainly don’t blame you for avoiding it, especially if you can’t get across before 6.Dave_in_AZ, Dino soar, D.Tibbitt and 2 others Thank this. -
Dave_in_AZ, Siinman, D.Tibbitt and 1 other person Thank this.
