The power went out for some reason. I love how that happens when the weather is completely calm.

I got the trusty lanterns lit. The misses went to move the brass one and I had to bark “don’t touch the chimney”.

So what does she do? SMH...

“But how were you touching it???”

    Um, by the carry handle.

Wow. We went into a direct Stage II rhinoceros sleep. Now we are woke, well one of us is, and the truck stop has devolved into Stage II CF.

Dave, I have already started doing my part. I turn my truck off going downhill and periodically on a flat road, only starting it to get back up to speed. Together we can make a difference.

I need to sweet talk the security guard monster…..I mean lady….. into getting me unloaded tonight so I don’t have to wait till morning. I sold my soul a long time ago every week at the bar so I know I can “do things” for her.

Yes, there are only 2 or 3 in a concentrated area. Not spread out all over God’s creation. Same with the fields full of solar panels. Do they think all of that collected heat in one area is not going to have some effect on heat currents in the immediate area?
