To anyone running 4 axle tractors, how far in front of the center of drive tandem is your fifth wheel? I realize the length of the trailer neck is important in this, mine is 120 inch swing clearance. The truck is around 240 wb with 20 k front and 46 rears. I can’t decide on what pusher to use but I just want a starting point for the fifth wheel

How do you get enough weight on the drives or maybe they have really long neck trailers?
I often have to deliver to off road type jobs so idk how it would work but I will give it some thought
Thankscke, CAXPT and Another Canadian driver Thank this. -
I have tan them centered over the drive. If your trailer has adjustable pitch you can change the pitch of your trailer casting more weight forward.
CAXPT Thanks this.
