Not sure where else to post this, so...
Long story long, I replied to a truckpaper ad for an rgn at a multi-store dealer chain, that was selling a used rgn. Negotiated the delivery, signed the sales order and they sent me the wire instructions. Wired the money, they accepted. 2 weeks go by, then salesguy finally answers the phone and say deal's off. We decided not to sell it.

What recourse, if any might I have? Can they just send a check and thats it, or can I demand the trailer? Attorney appt. monday morning, but asking here and now.
    Thanks for any experience.

I would chalk it up to opportunity missed - no point in enriching a lawyer - get your cash back - have them wire it back to your account plus the wiring fee you lost

That's more a lawyer question than anything. With legal stuff, the devil is in the details. Someone on here might have had a similar experience, but their outcome may be different that what yours ends up. IDK.
My thoughts, which don't account for anything, is that since you never took physical delivery of the trailer, as long as they give you your money back, not much you can do. However, you might be able to get back a bit more money than you paid to cover the inconvenience and such. A lawyer would know what you can do.

They sound flaky. If they were ethical, they would have sent you the money when they told you the deal is off. I would try to get the money back ASAP.
