Before completing CDL school?? Ive seen it sometimes takes weeks for some carriers to get back to you, so any thoughts about applying before you actually have the card in hand??

Should start applying on the first day of cdl school. Don't wait until the last week or after graduation.
Job offers will be contingent on graduating from cdl school and having any required endorsements.

Intrastate trucking here is almost nonexistant. If the person is even contemplating a trucking job, it more than likely will be OTR, and it's adios to Hometown, USA, if you want to make it, the truck should be your home.
Now, all is not lost . Regional jobs come up once in a while. In my little paper, a tanker job was posted, 1 load of water from Buena Vista to Denver., about 3.5 hours. It could be newly started Nestle spring water to a bottling plant, but more likely, spring water to a dope grow house, but who cares, it would smell like money to me. $29.50/hr. to start, w/ benefits, new daycab tractor, 8 hours/night, no weekends. No takers,,,:dontknow: sounds pretty sweet to me,,,
