    What's up all.
I been looking through the forums and found a few threads but just wanted some more info.
I recently got my cdl through Millis Transfer and was looking for a starter company to do some tanker driving. Dry Van is OK, and I do have a offer with Estes after a couple more months of experience, but I would like to jump over to tanker, it just seems steadier.
It doesn't matter if it's food grade, cryo etc.

I talked to venenzia and indian river but they both need a year and don't have training set up yet and I only have 2 months in so far. I was thinking Prime but I just did 15k miles with a trainer and I'm not sure how long they would want me in a truck with someone else and I don't want to call because the recruiters will blow up my phone every 5 minutes and verizon won't let me hide my number.

I live in Central PA, would like to stay otr, have the tanker and hazmat endorsements

Thanks in advance and sorry if I missed a thread on this already

TBH your experience is a little thin to go tanker. If you went to one of those 200 hour "approved" schools, you might be able to score tanker job with three months experience.

Oakley Trucking or Carry Transit are two OTR food grade tanker outfits worth a look.

If Foodliner is anywhere near you, try them.

I don't know where this is in relation to you, but L & S Sweeteners/Zook Molasses in Leola, PA always has a hiring sign out. It's a small company, they might take a chance on you.

If it's too far away, pound the pavement around your house to find a small tanker outfit. There aren't many of them left, though.

How many hours is the school you attended?
Which town are you in or near?

Sometimes Bulkmatic will hire a driver in your situation.
Website has "1 yr. exp." but I know some terminals hire in your situation.

Ok I will start with those companies, really sucks the smaller ones are almost all gone.

I can't remember exactly but I think it was 140 hours class time and 15k miles with a trainer. It was through Millis Transfer so not sure if it is a approved school although the JJ Keller stuff I am sure is universal. I am in Williamsport PA

Yeah, sometimes Foodliner cuts some slack on experience.
