I think something like 200 would have been more appropriate. I’m calling shenanigans though. What’s this allow all the parking to go away after they go wild on ELD’s ####? They forcing team operations on everyone so they can put more unsuitable people in trucks until they figure out how to make them go away altogether? Just so much of this #### makes no sense at all.

It’s on back road in a rural area..that would explain the small location..

At least they have it right across the road where the warehouses are located.

You think you guys have parking problems? If I parked in those spaces there would be 20’ of truck stuck out into the parking lot. Like when I park at a Flyin J here, or the Onroutes on 400series highways. Ontario must have hired an American company to design those lots, Canadian trucks don’t fit in those either. Oddly enough, the 2 trucks I’ve had hoods torn off of, one was at the J in Napanee, and the other was at the Morrisburg Onroute. Not sure if the trucks not fitting in the ####ing parking spaces had anything to do with that, but I’m suspicious.

The block of land they built on may only of had enough space for 74 trucks I gather, I suppose the other option would of been to buy a larger block of land. Although 74 is still better than zero.

A lot of times when these truck stop corporations get approval for new construction the local gov't. controls how many parking spaces that they are allowed to supply. Some have as few as 10 like the little Pilots called One 9 now and others have up to 900 like Iowa 80. Just be glad that they were able to build another much needed truck stop even if smaller than expected.

I have seen, on occasion, a truck stop with not many parking spaces, then, suddenly, one time I'm cruising by on the interstate and I notice they added 100 spaces since the last time I was there. Either they owned the land from the start and did not pave it, or, purchased it and added the spots.
