    Try giving HR Ewell a call. I heard they were hiring and didn't need a year experience. They run nice equipment and I think they're all food grade, sweeteners and molasses and stuff

    Do you have the money to cover your contract with Millis? When I was there for training it was a year contract AFTER ALL TRAINING
    Just curious

    @Rutt--a follow-up to post #7 above:

    last time I checked--one of Schneider's locations for tanker training was in Coraopolis, PA.

    Schneider will put you into tankers with the experience you have, now.

    But....try out all the other suggestions given above--first.

    Schneider is right in your back yard. I'd start there if I were you.

    As bad as the trainer I had was they might tear it up and apologize for what they putting me through
    Talked to Foodliner and they don't have any trainers for a month or 2 and the terminal
    Talked to a recruiter for Schneider and they honestly look the most promising so far. They switched to hourly pay 27 driving and 15 for all on duty. 3 weeks training 500 per week pay, sign on bonus and tuition reimbursement.
    Going to give a call to the others mentioned to see what's out there first but I been stuck driving around Atlanta this week so I might jump off a bridge before I even get that far

    @Rutt--in the genuine interest of "total disclosure"...before you sign up for tanker with good ol' "Big Orange"....you might wanna read the following thread from this same Forum, and then think about it (there's no better feedback than from someone else who's already "been there, done that"):

    Schneider National Bulk Carriers | TruckersReport.com Trucking Forum | #1 CDL Truck Driver Message Board (thetruckersreport.com)

    That's why I suggested you pursue the other listed job leads, first.

    Try JLP Transport its a small outfit that will possibly hire you I know they’re looking for drivers ASAP. Management has been thinking about recruiting from CDL schools to fill much needed positions. I know we just picked up this account hauling beer sugar into Jersey Shore, Pa off of I80. Worth a shot.
