Does this mean I have to try it all over again the next time I take it? I passed the pre-trip, in-cab, and backing.
Almost passed, failed the driving portion. :(

Probably will have to do a pre-trip again, then the driving road test.
Be prepared in case the examiner tells you to.Last edited: May 25, 2022
Flat Earth Trucker and Turtlelegs Thank this. -
May vary by state, but in Texas you'd only have to do the driving portion again since you already passed pre-trip, in-cab/brake, and backing maneuvers.
Bean Jr., NY2001, Wasted Thyme and 1 other person Thank this. -
What did you mess up in driving? Are you taking mental note to make sure not to do it again, and why it was a wrong thing to do? -

No you don’t have to do the pre trip again. Did they write on your permit?
Bean Jr. Thanks this.
