I don’t expect anything to change in favor of the driver.
    BUT.
they needed us when the bs hit the fan during the shut down, now we’re back to being worthless.

Let's all get together and go on strike. That will show them.

    Strikes won’t help.
    Truck drivers won’t stand together.

Good luck on that. This industry(namely the POS mega training companies as well as the incompetent failed abortions at FMCSA) did a swell jobs of flushing out the veteran drivers who knew what they were doing, didn’t act like degenerate slobs, and replaced them with a new generation of degenerate slobs that I would trust with a bicycle.

Spot on. The field is full of laziness and no class. I was at a shipper today and a yard dog spotted a poop bag discarded in front of a dock. Absolutely embarrassing. Gone are the days of the shirt with buttons, work boots, and airbrushed paint jobs. Hello APU, elogs, automatic braking, and sweat pants.

"In addition, if the bill were enacted, “in theory, drivers would have to be paid for a lot of time that they’re not currently paid for, which would not be sustainable,”"

Oh noes, its unsustainable to pay people for their time...
