There seems to be a national shortage of truck drivers to bring the goods all the way from the farm to the plant to the grocers' shelves. Does the federal government need to even draft truck drivers like the military during Vietnam? Farmers seem to be destroying crops and livestock because there is simply no way to get it to market. The trucking industry is going to seriously have to change it's tune to make serious incentives to get behind the wheel.

No farms, no trucks, no drivers, no food. Period.

This kind of rhetoric had begun probably when the wheel was invented. No wheel, no wagon, no delivery, wheel shortage brings out hunger, no wheel no population, period)

It’s nothing to do with the trucking supply chain. Sort of like with Covid if you needed an excuse, just blame Covid. Now that nobody cares about Covid just blame the supply chain or Russia.

Farmers were ordered to destroy crops, meat and milk a while back because of "Covid". The government created this situation and continues to carry it forward.

    Whatever your source of propaganda.
If you go read the O/O section here you’ll see rates are dropping. If there was a truck shortage, then rates would increase.
I pull a reefer and I’m sitting at home because the broker found a cheaper truck.

Experts Say A Truck Driver Shortage is Driving Up Prices at Stores | Fergus Now

    DRIVER shortage, not TRUCK shortage.

Fuel prices don't help food prices also. Diesel even in Oklahoma is now about to hit $5.00/gallon. The #### on the bottom of the barrel. Potential drivers, the geeky millennials, want a lot of pay, perks and away-from-home living comforts. Perhaps the railroads should pick up the slack too in getting the bacon to the market. If younger humans don't want to drive trucks anymore, it's time to seriously look at robots in big rigs.

I voted for Don in 2016 and again in 2020. Please don't blame me.

It has nothing to do with trucks or drivers. It’s another lie to throw everyone off their tracks. Go talk to some local farmers if you can even find any left. It’s federal reserve and the world economic forums fault..

you’d be better off blaming bill gates . He does own the most farmland in the United States
