Hey, everyone. I have a cabover tractor I'm interested in buying, but, in order to lease with it on with Landstar, I need to be able to install either an Omni Tracs or Keep On Trucking ELD. I know the N14 has an ECM. Did the K100 have the necessary data port by the year 2000? Any help is appreciated.

You should be good with a 2000. The N-14 was hooked to various logging devices in the early 90’s.
Frito Lay was one company using computer log books known as the Cadec, in the early 90’s running N-14 Motors.

Won't work dude. Don't listen to those here who think it will. Just send me the #, I'll buy it and run it with paper, just to help you and the seller.

If it has a ecm it must have a port to diagnose and program it they use that .

Omnitracs will work back to the late 80's. Just won't have all the functions of a ELD.
