At only 150 miles each way I bet you could. That’s only 5 hours driving total each day.
All depends on on duty not driving hours .

 

Wow!! They give you 5 bucks to work on the weekend? Where do I sign???

 

Maybe it’s an extra 5 bucks a mile?

 

I drove for them in Alaska they pay by the hour and the routes each have their own pay schedule.Say if your route pays 4 hours,under normal conditions an average driver can get it done in 3 hours or less,you still get paid the 4 hours.
Your actual driving,working hours will normally be less than the hours you are getting paid.
In the busy season between Thanksgiving and Christmas they usaully run out of driving hours and hire some relief drivers to keep legal.
But if you finish your shift at 810 am and start your next shift at 5 pm you're not getting the 10 hour break on this one.I don't know how they are calculating this one.

 

It doesn't have to be legal, someone will do it no matter what.

 

Isnt there somewhere in the regs where if you punch a time clock you dont have to run a log book? I know it has to be within so many miles of hub but I think they can clock in 16 hr days but not sure
