Yeah some companies arnt real big on communication and today's example is greater omaha express whom I left in 06/2017 .
Monday afternoon I gave my 2 weeks notice 400 miles from omaha over the phone while sitting once again in a truckstop over one of theyre blunders ....they're response was oh sorry hear that wel get ya some layver pay .
Tuesday they send me a load to pick up in Minnesota going to omaha for Wednesday delivery and I go get it .
Wednesday I send a few messages and numerous phone calls regarding whether to drop the trailer at the receiver or live unload? ...no response to anything and I'm feeling ignored so that 2 weeks thing is off the table and I drop the trailer at the receiver and bobtail home to clean the truck out after having made arrangements with Morehouse to start orientation the next day .
About 8 that night one of the dispatchers calls me wanting to know if I had really quit? ...ummmm yeah !@!!!!! And I'll be down with the truck , keys and fuel card in the morning...click !
This same moron once left me sitting in Chicago so long he forgot I was there .
Next morning I dropped off the truck and Morehouses recruiter picked me up In a company pick up ...we honked and I waved to the operations manager as we drove away .
That was 4 years ago and I'm still at Morehouse with a nice paid off truck .

Yes! I am having the same problems. The last couple of week I've been trying to get into contact with someone since I'm trying to calculate weekly deductions and find out what the offer such as trailer rentals and bonuses. Did you ever here anything from them?

Usually my company leaves the drivers alone unless the camera catches them doing something really stupid(like holding that ##### phone up to their face and playing a video game while driving), or if they are showing really late for pickup/delivery/swap and haven’t given an update. Of course now and then I have to rattle the cage.

communication basically sucks everywhere now. Especially after the “rona” started.
