Hello I’m interested in going to Wal-Mart. I have a couple questions. I’m in Florida looking at either Macclenny, Alachua, Brooksville, or Ft.Pierce DC. If you guys have any input on those DC’s would love to hear it. Is the pay true? I’m in food service making round 100k but I’m working for ever single penny (work smarter not harder). Will they hire guys with automatic restrictions?

Yes they will hire with an automatic restriction. A 1st year driver on a 5 day on 2 off schedule can easily make $110k +. The schedules with more time off can still make over $100k. You will start and end the week at your home DC but pull loads in and out of the others. I average anywhere from 30 to 70% of my runs originating from my home DC.

My "homework" on Walmart sez they require at least 30 months CDL driving experience.

They also of course want a clean driving record.

Be advised: for the first several years of driving there--you will very likely have to slip seat.:(
