O.O's & those with authority's has your insurance gone up this year?

I'm curious for anyone who has already renewed this year did your insurance rate go up? I'm on my last payment of this policy term, so I free ride the next 2 months until it renews in Sept. I'm expecting a rate hike due to the obvious inflation and how much vehicle prices have gone up. Every car on the road is worth more today than it was last year because of the chip shortage, all the parts to repair cars have gone up due to shortages as well as the labor.. It's given there will be rate hikes.

I'm already expecting it but I'm curious if others have already seen an increase or not? I was already hit by a 50% increase mid-term in my policy because Progressive claimed they wrote my policy wrong and my rate already jumped from $9,8k to $15k/year..

 

Sounds like they decided just to raise the rates because they could and came up with a ######## reason.

 

There is always a discount for paying in full, but how early in the year did your's renew? Was it before all the crazy price increases in everything?

 

Yeah, when they raised mine they didn't even call me.. I logged into my account and instead of seeing a bill for $900+ it was $3,5k due that month.. No warning, no phone call nothing.. When I called to find out WTF was going on that's when they told me and they back changed me the extra on my policy for that year and about the increase.

I absolutely flipped out on them for not even calling me..
