The Aerodynamics of my truck’s mirror makes it problematic for me to roll down the windows on my truck as I’m driving.
Anything that hits the mirror gets deflected into my cab. Last summer, I got stung by a bee after it hit my mirror and landed on my thigh.
I had forgotten about that as the weather got warmer this spring. The other day a huge sphinx moth hit my mirror and my face was sprayed with its guts. The moth carcass landed on my dashboard. Had to roll the window back up again and keep it closed. Hate to think what would happen if my mirror collided with a bird or a bat as sometimes happens to my windshield.
Summer time and insects through the windows
