So we use the peoplenet eld. We also get paid for all on duty time. From the time we stop, be it for fuel, at a customer, a rest area or a traffic jam. Recent updates to the units will no longer back date to the time you actually stop and will now take a 5-6 minute grace period. Sounds like it will remain in drive mode for that period eating 5+ drive minutes each stop.
Anyone else have this update on the peoplenet units?
Are we getting screwed?

Basically if you forget to log off they are not going to cover it. I'm in the habit as soon as the truck stops. I hit off no need in wasting my time if the truck isn't moving.
alds, Timin770, Dennixx and 1 other person Thank this. -
Our units you just have to manually switch from driving to on duty. Or lose the 5 minutes of driving time.

In order to maximize our earnings we will hit on duty yard move at each stop to convert that time into dollars. It is 58 cents each minute of on duty pay.
